While exploring please be a responsible dog owner--Obey leash laws, clean up after your pet, watch your dog, and keep your dog up to date on shots. Please don't bring dogs that aren't well socialize, ill, females in heat, or young unvaccinated dogs where they may pose a risk to your dog or other dogs visitors.

Places
#1 Wineries
William Heritage Winery now welcomes dogs! Dogs are permitted in the grassy areas at the Mullica Hill winery, but not in the tasting rooms. Dogs are also welcomed to join their owners on the Heritage Estate Walking Trail. Staff asks that dogs are to be kept on leash at all times.
#2 Orchards
Ferrara's Orchard allows dogs to join their owners at the farm. Dogs are allowed to go pumpkin picking and apple picking. Bonus points if your pooch comes dressed for the occasion in their Halloween costume. Staff just asks that you act as a responsible dog owner and clean up after your dog and keep them on a leash at all times.
#3 Breweries
Bonesaw Brewing Company now welcomes our four-legged friends! Dogs are welcomed to visit Bonesaw's patio seating areas and outdoor areas. Dogs need to be kept on leash at all times.
Events
Fun for the whole family, even your dog! This three day event generally occurs over Columbus Day weekend. Visit over 100+ vendors including artists, crafters, local businesses, and Food trucks. This event also includes all sort of Fall fun including hayrides, contests, pageants, games, music, photo ops, produce & more! There's also annually an all breed fun dog show! As of 2023, Ravenwood Farm (a non profit) is now managing the pumpkin show. Please note: parking pass is needed.
This annual event generally takes place in October. View adoptable animals not only from the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, but also from other local animal shelters and rescues. Enjoy live music, and food along with vendors lining the parking lot of the animal shelter. Bring your pooch along to enter the doggie costume contest.
A good time for all! An annual event generally held in late September. It is the biggest annual fundraise for Voorhees Animal Orphanage. This event is packed full of fun including dog demonstrations, live music, alumni parade, food trucks, vendors, animal shelter and rescue groups, basket auction & much more. There's multiple pet contests to enter for added fun. Please note: there is an admission fee to enter.
#4 Angels Community Outreach's HOWLOWEEN Pet Parade & Costume Contest Fundraiser
Dress up your pets in their spookiest, cutest, or most creative costume and have them strut their stuff in their Pet Parade and Costume Contest. All proceeds goes to supporting Angels Community Outreach's Kibble Corner Pet Food Pantry. The event starts with a (non mandatory) Pet Parade around Alcyon Lake Park (approx. 0.92 miles). Following immediately after is the Pet Costume Contest. Dress your pet up in their best attire and strut them down the purple carpet. Prizes will be given for the best of the 6 categories. There will be raffles, human snacks, dog treats and vendors.
An annual event for Glassboro's Police K9 Unit. Pets need to be kept at home. Enjoy a variety of entertainment including bounce house, wrestling, touch a truck, games, K9 demonstrations from teams around the region and much more!
Bonus: Dog friendly Places in (or near) Philly!
Well behaved dogs are welcomed on any 45 minute or 70 minute trips into the beautiful Lehigh Gorge State Park at no additional costs. Dog visitors will even receive their own special ticket for their ride on the diesel-powered train. The Autumn Leaf Train is perfect for seeing all the fall scenery this time of year! This special Autumn train ride generally runs from the end of September to the beginning of November.
Leashed dogs can experience Amish culture with you at the Amish Farm and House. The Amish Farm and House is Lancaster’s original Amish educational farm museum. Dogs are welcome to go on the authentic 1805 farmhouse guided tour, guided bus tour, self explore the one room schoolhouse, and self guided 15 acre farm tour. The guided tours will give you an up-close and personal look into the Amish lifestyle. With the change of each season, there is always something different to look forward to on the farm. In October, they offer Fall Farm Days and Trick or Treating which offer a variety of additional dog friendly activities.
Elmwood Park Zoo was established in 1924 when a a local farmer transferred 16 acres and a small menagerie to the Borough of Norristown. Elmwood Park Zoo is currently home to over 100 species that come from all over the world. Elmwood Park Zoo now invites dogs to join them for Dog Days. Dog admission is limited and rules are in place to help ensure safety. Guests visiting the zoo with their dog must complete an online application and must upload a vet record of your most recent veterinary visit, as well as proof of vaccinations and heartworm test and a recent photo of your dog. Please note that dogs are not permitted in some parts of the zoo.
Born in 1926, Knoebels Amusement Resort first was home to just the Crystal Pool, a merry-go-round and a few food stands. Since then, many more attractions have been added over the years. Most rides aren't dog friendly, but there are a few rides where pups can join the rest of the family on!...The train, boat and antique cars are all dog friendly. Pet owners are of course responsible for keeping control of their pet and cleaning up after them. Pets need to be leashed or in a carrier at all times and guests may not leave pets unattended at any time. Pets are not permitted in any restaurant, gift shop, cabins, cottages, eagle roosts, trailers, and most rides.
Philadelphia is a town full of history. On this walking tour, you will receive chilling accounts of some of Philadelphia’s most famous ghosts and legends. Tours are 60 to 90 minutes long. Well behaved dogs are welcomed to join as long as they don't disturb or distract the tour or the ghosts!
